The DRECP site survey
composite is a union of several spatially-explicit model outputs and a subset of
alternative-specific planning elements extracted from the integrated
alternatives.
In addition to providing baseline
biological and ecological information (e.g., species distributions and
terrestrial intactness values), each polygon in this dataset links to a report that specifies the Conservation Management Actions (CMAs) required for
renewable energy development projects undertaken at that location. The list of CMAs generated is based on the
species or plant communities present and the ownership/planning designation of
the polygon.
This version (5.0) also includes a link to a draft site survey report which provides graphing functionality and an interactive inset map.
This dataset contains information
derived from the following model outputs, summarized at the 1km level:
-
Terrestrial
Intactness
-
Conservation Value
-
Soil Sensitivity
-
Physical Refugia
-
Species Distributions
-
Natural Community
