Description:
This dataset contains the locations of renewable energy projects in California that are represented in the California Public Utilities Commission's (CPUC) RPS Calculator 6.2, released in 2016. The dataset was constructed using information submitted by investor-owned utilities to the CPUC and by publicly-owned utilities to the California Energy Commission (CEC).

The data was filtered to include show only active and in-progress in-state generation projects for wind, geothermal, Solar PV - groundmount, Solar Thermal - No Storage.
